After Silence

...And God broke his "silence"! He spoke and things came to be...It was as if the universe evolved out of silence. Waoh! Silence must be very important to us, is it? But how much silence do we know today? The world is full of noise. I have come to accept my immediate environs as naturally noisy. But is it? Oh! The thought of this disturbs me...Come to think of it, silence and noise which precedes the other? What do we have after we have done away with silence?

  1. Remember that when we consider from an anthroplogical point of view the concept of religious language in speaking about God, we are on the verge of perpetual limitation! perhaps we could say one is the absence of the other!away with silence, behold mystery!

  2. Mike, you are right. Our anological or, at times, metaphorical expressions about God is highly limited. I'm conscious of that. Ah! You kept me thinking: "There seems to be something 'mysterious' about silence. But it's not too clear in my mind...
